E-Commerce & WooCommerce

WooCommerce stores that sell, not just sit there.

If you need an online store, WooCommerce built on WordPress is our go-to. You own it, you control it, and when you grow it doesn't hit you with a percentage fee. We've been building WooCommerce stores since 2013. Stripe checkout, subscription flows, custom product pages, the works. Price in writing first. Call or text (573) 746-2417.

Why WooCommerce over Shopify or a hosted platform

Shopify, BigCommerce, and others are fine for some shops. But they own your data and charge you a percentage on every sale that compounds as you grow. WooCommerce is open source, runs on WordPress you control, and the payment fees go to Stripe, not a platform middleman. You can move hosts, swap themes, hire any developer, or hand it off to us. No lock-in.

The other thing: WooCommerce paired with WordPress gives you a real content site alongside your store. Blog posts, landing pages, SEO content that brings organic traffic, all in one install instead of cobbled together from two separate tools.

What we actually build

Standard product catalog stores where customers browse, add to cart, and check out with Stripe or PayPal. Subscription-style shops with recurring orders. Custom product pages with options and variants. Wholesale or tiered pricing for B2B clients. Abandoned cart flows. Order management dashboards. Whatever your store needs.

We've built for outdoor and hunting gear retailers, specialty e-commerce shops, and businesses adding an online channel to a brick-and-mortar. We've run WooCommerce stores for clients through big traffic swings, plugin upgrades, and payment provider changes. We know where things break and how to keep them from breaking.

Payments, shipping, and the tedious bits

Stripe is our preferred payment processor: good rates, solid fraud tools, clear payouts. We set up the full checkout flow including tax rules, shipping zones, order confirmation emails, and the admin order management screen so you can process and fulfill without asking us every time.

If you need USPS, UPS, or FedEx live rates, calculated shipping, flat-rate shipping, or local pickup, we set all of that up. If you use a fulfillment service or integrate with a POS system, we can wire that up too.

FAQ

Common questions

What does a WooCommerce store cost to build?

Depends on how many products, how complex the checkout flow is, and what integrations you need. A clean catalog store with Stripe checkout runs a few thousand. A subscription store with multiple pricing tiers and a B2B wholesale section runs more. Tell us what you need and we'll price it flat, in writing, within one business day.

Should I use WooCommerce or Shopify?

If you want full ownership and no platform percentage fee, WooCommerce. If you want a simpler managed experience and don't mind paying Shopify a cut of sales, Shopify. We're honest about this: we build primarily on WooCommerce but we'll tell you if Shopify is a better fit for your specific situation.

Can I add products myself after launch?

Yes. That's one of WooCommerce's strengths. The WordPress admin panel is straightforward. We walk you through adding products, updating inventory, and processing orders before we hand it off.

Do you handle WooCommerce maintenance after launch?

Yes. WooCommerce + WordPress updates need attention or they break things. We run maintenance retainers that cover daily plugin updates, backups, and security monitoring. Ozark Ridge Calls has been on one of our hosting plans since 2013.

Can you migrate my existing store to WooCommerce?

Usually yes. Tell us your current platform (Shopify, Squarespace, BigCommerce, a custom cart, whatever) and how many products. We'll tell you what's involved and price it flat.
