Small Business

Small business websites that bring you the call.

If you run a small business at the Lake of the Ozarks, your website has one real job: get folks to pick up the phone or stop in. We build websites for small business owners around Lake Ozark, Osage Beach, Camdenton, Eldon, Sunrise Beach, Laurie, and the rest of the Lake area. Same folks since 2006. Price in writing before we start. Most sites launch in two to three weeks. Call (573) 746-2417 and a real person picks up.

What a small-business website needs to do

It needs to load fast on a phone. It needs to say what you do and where you do it. It needs your phone number tappable at the top. It needs to look like you mean business so a stranger trusts you in about three seconds. That's it. Everything else is gravy.

Most of our small-business sites have the same pattern: a clear hero that says what you do (concrete, plumbing, roofing, accounting, whatever), a short bit of proof (reviews, past jobs, years in business), a list of what you sell, a real about page with a real face, and a contact page that works on a phone. No corporate stock photos. No "synergy." Just a site that answers the questions a customer has in their first ten seconds and gets them to call you.

Show up on Google when folks search local

The Lake area is a small market. Folks Google "concrete contractor Lake Ozark" or "plumber Osage Beach" or "tax preparer Camdenton" and pick from the first few results. If you're not in the first few, you're invisible. We build sites with local SEO baked in so Google knows you're in Lake Ozark, Camdenton, Osage Beach, Eldon, Sunrise Beach, Laurie, Versailles, Linn Creek, or Gravois Mills (whichever ones you cover) and serves you up when somebody searches for what you do.

That means proper schema, a Google Business Profile dialed in, and pages written for the searches your customers actually type. We can also add ongoing local SEO month to month if you want help climbing the rankings after launch.

Built so you can keep it up to date

Phone numbers change. Hours change. You hire somebody new. You add a service. You want to put up a photo from a job you finished last week. With our sites you (or anybody at your shop with normal computer skills) can change those things in a couple of minutes. No calling us. No paying us to update a phone number.

If you want a bigger change later (a new service line, an online store, a customer portal), we're still here. Some of our clients have been with us since 2008. We don't ghost after launch.

FAQ

Common questions

What does a small-business website cost?

Depends on what you need. Most of our small-business sites land between a few thousand and a little more. Tell us what you do and where, and we'll send the exact price in writing within one business day. No hourly clock running.

How long does it take to build?

Two to three weeks for most small-business sites. That's assuming you can get us your photos and content on a normal pace. If you're slammed running your business, we'll wait. Better to ship a site you're happy with.

Do you only work with Lake-area businesses?

No, we work with small businesses all over Missouri and the rest of the country. But we're based at the Lake, so most of our work is for folks in Lake Ozark, Osage Beach, Camdenton, Eldon, Sunrise Beach, Laurie, Linn Creek, and the Lake area generally.

Can I update the site myself after launch?

Yep. Phone numbers, hours, photos, blog posts. Easy stuff anybody at your shop can change in a couple minutes. We use WordPress for most sites because it's the easiest thing for non-tech folks to learn. We walk you through it.

What if I already have a website?

Even easier. We rebuild the parts that aren't working and keep what is. A redesign is usually faster than starting from scratch because we already know your business and what your customers respond to.

Ready to talk?

Tell us what you're thinking.

We quote every project as a flat fee in writing once we understand the scope. Drop us a note, give us a call, or send a text. We'll get back within one business day.
