Small Business

Missouri small business websites that bring in the call.

A small business site has one job: get customers to call or stop in. We build for Missouri small businesses at the Lake of the Ozarks, in Jefferson City, Columbia, Springfield, and the Kansas City and St. Louis metros. Since 2006. Fixed-fee pricing in writing. Most sites live in 3 to 4 weeks. Call (573) 746-2417.

What a Missouri small business site needs to do

It needs to load fast on a phone. It needs to say what you do and where you do it. It needs your phone number tappable at the top. It needs to look serious enough that a stranger trusts you in about three seconds. That is the job. Everything else is a bonus.

Most of our small business sites follow the same pattern: a clear hero that says what you do (concrete, plumbing, roofing, accounting, insurance, retail), a short bit of proof (reviews, past jobs, years in business), a list of services, a real about page with a real face on it, and a contact page that works on a phone. No corporate stock photos. No filler copy. Just a site that answers the questions a customer has in their first ten seconds and gets them to call you.

Rank on Google for Missouri local searches

Missouri towns are small markets. Customers search "concrete contractor Lake Ozark", "plumber Osage Beach", "tax preparer Camdenton", "HVAC repair Jefferson City", "roofer Springfield MO", "electrician Lee's Summit", and pick from the first few results. If you are not in the first few, you are invisible. We build sites with local SEO baked in so Google knows your service area. That includes Lake Ozark, Camdenton, Osage Beach, Eldon, Sunrise Beach, Laurie, Versailles, Linn Creek, and Gravois Mills at the Lake, plus Jefferson City, Columbia, Springfield, Joplin, Cape Girardeau, St. Charles, and the Kansas City and St. Louis metros. Whichever towns you actually serve.

That means proper schema, a Google Business Profile dialed in, and pages written for the searches your customers actually type. We can also run ongoing local SEO month to month if you want help climbing the rankings after launch.

Built so your shop can keep it up to date

Phone numbers change. Hours change. You hire somebody new. You add a service. You want to post a photo from a job you finished last week. With our sites you (or anybody at your shop with normal computer skills) can change those things in a couple of minutes. No calling us. No paying us to update a phone number.

If you want a bigger change later (a new service line, an online store, a customer portal), we are still here. Some of our clients have been with us since 2008. We do not disappear after launch.

FAQ

Common questions

What does a small-business website cost?

Depends on what you need. Most of our small-business sites land between a few thousand and a little more. Tell us what you do and where, and we'll send the exact price in writing within one business day. No hourly clock running.

How long does it take to build?

Two to three weeks for most small-business sites. That's assuming you can get us your photos and content on a normal pace. If you're slammed running your business, we'll wait. Better to ship a site you're happy with.

Do you only work with Lake-area businesses?

No. We work with small businesses across Missouri and the rest of the country. We are based at the Lake of the Ozarks, so most of our clients are in Lake Ozark, Osage Beach, Camdenton, Eldon, Sunrise Beach, Laurie, Linn Creek, and the surrounding Lake area, but we also work with businesses in Jefferson City, Columbia, Springfield, Kansas City, and St. Louis.

Can I update the site myself after launch?

Yes. Phone numbers, hours, photos, blog posts. Straightforward stuff anybody at your shop can change in a couple minutes. We use WordPress for most sites because it is the easiest CMS for non-technical staff to learn. We walk you through it after launch.

What if I already have a website?

Even easier. We rebuild the parts that aren't working and keep what is. A redesign is usually faster than starting from scratch because we already know your business and what your customers respond to.
